ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
OUR COMMITMENTS AND ENGAGEMENTS
To ensure smooth, sustainable, and stable operations in today’s business environment, regular interaction with our stakeholder
groups is key. ADOC encourages open dialogues between all stakeholders to maintain and strengthen collaboration through
transparent and trusted communications. Engagement, along with appropriate planning allows ADOC to respond to challenges
and opportunities to develop strategy and programs for future years, and to focus on important sustainability needs. Stakeholder
engagement, including the Materiality Assessment, is conducted in accordance with the ADOC Procedure for HSE Data
Collection, Monitoring and Reporting (Procedure No. SE/GSP-14, 2020).
At ADOC, we define our stakeholders as groups or individuals that can either affect or be affected by our business. We engage
with our stakeholders on a regular basis through internal meetings, site visits, presentations, participation in regional forums,
grievance procedures, and committees.

We continued to engage remotely with those influenced or affected by our activities, despite the challenges posed by the
COVID-19 pandemic, which limited face-to-face interactions. The HSE department, in consultation with other relevant
departments, identified the stakeholder representatives who are responsible for the engagements. The HSE Department
ultimately provides feedback to the General Manager for approval. Moreover, ADOC and Contractor employees continued to
participate in training sessions despite alternative working conditions due to the pandemic. On most occasions, remote training
sessions were arranged with the Suppliers to continue interaction on a regular basis.
Our commitment to Emiratization remained a priority this year. We are continuously engaging with our UAE National
employees, providing them with regular training and performance reviews to assist them in reaching their goals and to further
career progression. Based on their feedback, ADOC is carefully reviewing the career framework for UAE Nationals and how best
to support them further in the progress.
