ADOC’s Alignment to The UN SDGs are a roadmap to achieve a better and
the United Nations (UN) more sustainable future, addressing global challenges such
as climate change, environmental degradation, poverty,
Sustainable Development inequality, and human rights. The pertinent sections of
Goals (SDGs) this Report contain the areas where we actively strive to
contribute most significantly to sustainability through our
activities and how we align with the SDGs. In total there
are 17 SDGs, and out of these, 14 SDGs are particularly
applicable to our business operations and activities.
ADOC operates two clinics and one first aid post, ensuring the health and well-being of our employees whilst
they are working onshore and offshore. ADOC has consistently reported zero fatalities for many years with
the trend continuing in 2022. ADOC also recorded no Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) for ADOC employees and
Contractors, meeting their KPI target. ADOC nurtures the health and wellbeing of all employees by providing
medical care and training to make sure all staff are competent in their day-to-day work to evade health and
safety risks and incidents.
ADOC provides flexible work schedules and study leave to workers who wish to continue their education.
ADOC also provides in-house and external training courses, a total of 686 hours of training were undertaken in
2022 by Company employees, and 232 hours of training were provided to Contractor staff. ADOC continues

efficient and responsible use of water by every individual. ADOC uses treated wastewater for irrigation
purposes at Mubarraz Island to encourage water recycling. In addition, we strive to improve water quality by
reducing and eliminating pollution, dumping, and releases of hazardous chemicals and materials to the marine
environment. ADOC is dedicated to preventing and minimizing the number and volume of hydrocarbon spills
to the marine environment through strict operations and maintenance procedures, and firmly adheres to
national and international guidelines for discharges into the marine environment.
ADOC completed the transition of their Energy Management System (EnMS) from the ISO 50001:2011
to 50001:2018 standard in 2020. This standard provides a framework for more efficient use of energy and
continual improvement, by setting targets and objectives and measuring the results.
ADOC successfully maintained stable operations by meeting all crude oil production targets, thereby promoting
sustained economic growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as full and productive employment,
