ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2021

In celebration of World Environment Day 2021, workshop sessions on environmental protection activities were organized by
ADOC. The sessions were attended by all ADOC staff and facilitated by external specialist consultant. Similar sessions were
conducted in August 2021 and these sessions were attended by ADNOC staff.
Various initiatives were discussed during the sessions. These include mangrove planting activities since 1985, mangrove relocation
project, mangrove STP sludge experiment, sea grass studies, coral transplantation, osprey artificial nesting and monitoring, wild
plant propagation, etc. ADNOC appreciated the ADOCs’ efforts on environmental protection activities. The workshops were
conducted virtually in line with Covid-19 precautionary measures.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

SYSTEM TRANSITION

We successfully achieved the transformation of the EnMS from the
ISO 50001:2011 to ISO 50001:2018 standard in 2020. In 2021, the
following activities were undertaken:

February: EnMS Team Meeting
was conducted to finalize Energy 2
Objectives and Targets for 2021.
March: EnMS Procedure CP-PR-11_
3 Procurement Procedure Energy Related
Equipment was revised as per the EnMS
Certification Audit requirements
April: EnMS internal audit and
management review was carried out 4

5 May: EnMS third party periodic
audit was carried out
July: ISO 50001: 2018 Internal
Auditor training (Energy Management
Systems) for 11 nos. delegates 7
from ADOC was conducted.
December: ADOC EnMS Awareness
12 training conducted with the participation
of ADOC HQ and Offshore employees.
