ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
of the mangroves. We monitored the effectiveness of the translocation on the survival of the mangrove trees. After six months,
the survival rate and growth of the mangroves were approximately 31% after one year, which proves higher than the 26% overall
mean rate of survival that mangroves experience over a long-term period at Mubarraz. There are factors to be considered in
the survival rate of the mangroves such as minimization of root damage and create a suitable site condition. In the forthcoming
years, ADOC will continue to strengthen its efforts towards the improvement of mangroves in the Mubarraz island.
We are committed to advancing innovation for the benefit of sustainable development and the protection and conservation of
our planet. We furthered our research and development into mangrove conservation and shared our findings with the global
community.
