ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

            OSPREYS

The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus – LC) is a regional priority species and has a resident breeding population in the UAE, which are
exclusively found in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is estimated that 70-75 breeding pairs are present in the Emirate, accounting for
75% of the entire Arabian Guld breeding population. Since 2005, we have continuously carried out monitoring and preservation
of the Osprey on Mubarraz Island. To further enhance the growth of the inhabiting Osprey, artificial osprey nests have been
installed around Mubarraz Island and the ARST where these nests are periodically monitored. The average number of monthly
Osprey sightings in 2021 was 32, which is a 28% increased from 2020.
            ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF TRANSPORTATION

In Abu Dhabi, transportation includes the movement of equipment, materials, and personnel offshore through helicopters
and marine vessels, as well as the use of Company vehicles onshore. We continue to monitor the environmental impact of
transportation such as emissions, disturbances to the marine environment and introduction of invasive species.
We undertake regular maintenance of our transportation fleet to ensure they operate at full efficiency. Furthermore, we operate
all vehicles and vessels in accordance with the relevant ADNOC HSE Standards and international best practice. Our vessels also
comply with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) and relevant UAE standards on
treatment and discharge of sewage wastewater from ships. We also implement the International Maritime Organization (IMO)
regulations for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediment Convention to prevent the introduction of
            invasive species from international waters.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF PRODUCT AND SERVICES

Once the crude oil is loaded into the tankers at SPM facility which is bound to Japan, we are no longer responsible for the
products. Therefore, this section is not applicable to our operations.
