ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

                                                                 MR. YOSHITO NAKAJIMA
                                                                                               Manager
                                                         Health, Safety and Environment Department

“As a department we strive towards 100% HSE compliance throughout all company operations. On a day-to-day basis we ensure
that safety is at the forefront of all ADOC’s operational activities through daily departmental meetings to discuss the key HSE
elements pertinent to the activities of that day. In addition, measures such as quarterly HSE committee meetings, implementing a
rigorous incident reporting process, HSE awareness campaigns and training, and regular HSE patrols and site-visits, enables us to
continuously review the outcomes of the activities carried out and provides new opportunities for development.

              Critical aspects of HSE
Safety is everyone’s responsibility. We recognize that HSE awareness and training of staff is one of the most critical elements
from a safety perspective and key to the success of all sustainable operations of ADOC’s assets. No matter how advanced or
sophisticated the equipment and systems are, in the end, safety is still the responsibility of the individual. Provision of training and
awareness is therefore valuable in supporting the safety culture of ADOC to ensure that all employees understand their own
responsibilities and communicate the importance of a safe working environment.
In addition, to improve and maintain HSE performance within the organization, it is vital for safety management standards and
procedures to be reinforced amongst contractor staff as well as employees.
              Leadership and Commitment
We review all contractor HSE plans, and all individual departments are required to monitor their performance through audits
and HSE patrols and report back to the HSE department on a monthly basis.

We also extend our efforts towards safety awareness initiatives and campaigns to all contractors working on site. For example, a
specific risk faced by workers within the region is heat stress. Through the “Beat the heat campaign”, we reached out to contractor
personnel, in additional to our employees on site, to remind them of the importance of regular breaks and rehydration through
daily notifications. This was successful and resulted in zero heat-related occupational illness/ injuries across our operations in
2021. We motivate our staff to conform to HSE through initiatives such as ‘Employee of the Month’ and through our annual
‘ADOC HSE Awards’ which are held on site.

              2021 Achievements
We are immensely proud that despite the challenging circumstances and the changing restrictions implemented by the UAE
government in response to the ongoing pandemic, we have enabled business activities, both onshore and offshore, to continue
unhindered and without any major accidents.
We are also proud of our long-standing environmental initiatives.
The mangrove plantation campaign has been a continuous effort by ADOC to sustain this important habitat. In July 2021, we
received the PIANC recognition – Working with Nature – Certificate of Recognition Category in July 2021 for our mangrove
planting. We are extremely pleased that our sustainable initiatives are being acknowledged externally. In addition, ADOC
conducted a successful environmental awareness workshop which was attended by ADOC employees as well as ADNOC
              representatives”.
