ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
ALIGNMENT WITH THE NEW ADNOC HSE STANDARDS
In 2019/2020, ADNOC released a new set of HSE Standards, replacing the previous Codes of Practice. ADOC, developed an
implementation plan to update their HSEMS and HSE procedures in line with the recent changes with the help of an external
consultant. In 2020, a Gap Analysis of the 79 new standards was commissioned to ensure alignment with the ADOC HSEMS
and HSE Procedures. ADOC have then planned to update the existing procedures in four phases with priority ranking and each
phase with a duration of six months. Phase 1 commenced in August 2021 and is expected to be completed by the first quarter
of 2022. A total of 17 procedures are planned to be updated in Phase 1. The final phase (Phase 4) is expected to be completed
by the third quarter of 2023 followed by the roll out of the standards and compliance verification and internal audits to verify
implementation.
