ADOC 2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
HSE AWARENESS AND EDUCATION
As mentioned in Chapter 2, training needs required by our employees are informed by individual annual performance reviews
for all staff. We offer both in-house and external training courses and awareness campaigns, depending on whether third party
certification is required. All training courses and campaigns are delivered at no cost to employees and are conducted during
working hours. By evaluating incidents that occur, we can determine the effectiveness of the training. Following an incident
investigation and through root cause analysis, the requirement for additional training may be identified to prevent future
reoccurrence of the incident.
Throughout 2021, a total of seven campaigns and 18 educational awareness sessions in addition to 16 training sessions were
conducted specifically for HSE topics. These included sessions on Slip/Trip Fall, Electrical Safety, COVID-19 awareness, Hand and
Power Safety Tools, Life Raft Operation, HSE Culture and Awareness. In addition, training sessions were provided for Company
and Contractor staff regarding Sea Survival, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training, H2S/ Breathing Apparatus, Basic Rigging
and Slinging, Crane Operator Refresher, Forklift Operator, Scissor Lift, Authorized Gas Tester, Incident Investigation, Ergonomics,
Radiation Safety Awareness and HAZMAT training.
