REMUNERATION POLICIES
Depending on their positions, all of our employees receive a basic salary with various allowances. For example, housing and meal
allowances, as well as overtime payments are provided to our junior employees, and senior executives are entitled to receive a
management allowance. In addition, to recognize long-term commitment with us at ADOC, all employees that have completed
10-, 20-, 25- or 30-years’ service receive a long-term service bonus in the month of their work anniversary. ADOC contribute
to the pensions for all UAE National employees throughout their employment. As per the UAE labor Law, all employees that
leave ADOC are eligible for an end of service benefits. The gratuity payment is calculated based on their base salary and years
of service.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
We at ADOC realize the key to an organization’s success and competitiveness depends on the knowledge, skill and motivation
of its valued employees to enhance their capabilities and skills through their daily work and supporting their development of their
technical and non-technical skills through training opportunities and programmes.
ADOC are proud of the training opportunities they provide to their employees with 679 hours1 of training being undertaken
in 2021. In addition, 210 hours of training were also provided to our Contractor staff, of which 84 and 26 hours of training were
provided to senior and junior staff, respectively. As in 2020, ADOC have continued to provide additional in-house training to their
employees over the past year alongside to external training courses.
In November, the HR Department introduced the Udemy Online Training Platform, offering a variety of comprehensive courses
aimed at improving technical skills and self-development. By the end of 2021, a total of 47 employees had accessed training via
the platform and attended a total of 64 courses covering 280 hours.
All employees, including the General Manager and members of the committee of managers from each of the departments
undergo annual performance reviews, conducted through a combination of management review and self-assessment. The annual
appraisal review then forms the foundation for the training needs analysis exercise as part of the Annual Training Plan.
